Helping Daddy

Will has become quite the little helper. One of his favorite things to do is help his Daddy with whatever it is he is doing. Here are some pictures from their activities of late.

Standing by Daddy in the kitchen helping chair that Will drags out as soon as we start doing something on the counters.

We've realized in the last few days that it's time to buy Will his first tool bag in hopes he will have his own plastic tools to use rather than wanting Daddy's. All we have to distract him with now is his wooden mallet rather than Daddy's hammer, but Mommy thinks it's a little too hard for banging on her furniture long term.

He sure loves helping his Daddy. He was underfoot the whole time.

Helping Daddy take down the round table so we can open up the room some. Notice Will working on a screw with Daddy's wrench. So focused.

Will likes helping Mommy when she cooks in the kitchen too. He and I make pancakes, waffles and just about anything where you dump and pour ingredients together. However, there is something special for him about being Daddy's little helper and I love watching the relationship they share now and imagining what it will look like as he grows.

Awww, what a super-cute little helper. He did a great job on the toy shelf; good thing he was there to direct Nate. :)

Time to pack up the play kitchen and break out the "work bench?" I just picked up a few of Will's tools from under furniture and cushions here at the lake house.

Cute!
