Pumpkin Patch

Today we bundled up and headed to the Dreamfield Farms and Pumpkin Patch on this last weekend of October.  We've been traveling so much we haven't been able partake in all the fun festive things to do around here, so we decided to make the most of these last few days.  

Yesterday, it seems Will was in shorts and a t-shirt, but today it was significantly colder and we were caught off guard.  Apparently our temporarily acquired thick Northern blood is getting thin as the "cold" felt really chilly this morning.  However, it would be challenging to really get in the spirit of the pumpkin patch if it had been hot outside so I'm kind of glad there was a chill in the air.  I just wish I had brought a coat!  

We had a GREAT time at the farm and could easily have stayed all day.  We can't wait to go back next year.

Will had to sit on EVERY tractor they had and they had a LOT of tractors.

We ran into Will's friend Winston from Sunday School

 What is the one thing that can get Will off the tractors?  Cow train rides behind a tractor.

Woooooooooo, Pig ! Sooie! - Pig Races were a first for us but definitely a highlight.

More tractor.  At this point Will would run over and climb right up unassisted.

Super cute rubber duck races.  If it hadn't been so stinking cold it would have been a little more fun.

They also had a petting zoo which was great fun.  We got to feed the goats, sheep and donkeys.  Laura loved the pigs and Will loved the goats.
