Weekend Fun
This past weekend some of our favorite friends drove over from Georgia to see us and our new digs. We enjoyed showing them around a bit and it is always fun to spend time together. Well, the adults had fun but the kids may have had an even better time. It is such a treat to watch the older two start to interact and be friends independent of us parents. Will and Audrey are a humorous and almost unexpected pairing because Will could not be more boy and Audrey could not be more princess girl. It's fun to watch their friendship unfold because despite their opposite natures they get along famously. And, it's always a joy to see the smiles and coos of the baby girls. Watching them discover the world around them and occasionally each other is a blessing as well.

While Will pulled her around, he stopped the wagon at one point and looked at her to say, "are you having fun?" She replied, "yes, I'm having fun," and he said, "okay," and continued to pull her around. Cute.
Olivia and Laura
The Montgomery Zoo was recommended. I may or may not have been slightly snobby about it. I mean, we've been visiting the National Zoo in DC for years. How could it even begin to compare? Well, it does. It's clearly smaller but the layout and overall quality was much better. I was so surprised, pleased and have never been that close to so many wild animals. We had a great visit and even bought a season pass so we can go back throughout the next year.
