14 months

Will turned 14 months on the 4th. It's still hard for us to believe that our once little bundle is now running around full of energy. I didn't think we could have comprehended how fast he would grow and how mischievous he would become. Ha! We often observe how like Dennis the Menace he can act. It turns out naming him William which means 'Strong Willed Warrior' isn't too far off the mark, well, the strong willed part. He's definitely not a quiet and passive little boy. We're good with that though because he still has a sweet and loving little heart. We're working on the whole obedience thing. Will seems to think the rules change every 5 minutes so he needs to go back and re-test his boundaries again and again to see if they have in fact changed. They haven't.

He has started chattering a lot in the last few months and now we are starting to hear actual words. He pretty regularly says yea, no, please (sounds more like "ssssse"), thanks (sounds more like "ank"), momma, da da and other random words that he doesn't repeat consistently but has said them here and there like church, turtle, book, etc. It's a start. He's showing a real love for music, reading books and throwing his ball, trucks and whatever else he thinks to throw. His latest thing is pointing at something and saying "what's that?" Okay, it sounds more like "sss tha" but it means the same. He's also discovered his belly button and is mystified by others belly buttons. He has been known to walk up to someone and lift up there shirt to see theirs so look out if you come to our house.

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks of our little love. We just can't get enough of him.

Sitting on the back deck with Daddy. He and I can often be found here on a nice day when he gets home from work.

This is one of my new favorite places to play. Go figure.

Mommy and Daddy have already assigned me chores. The slave drivers!

Playing my piano. I do this all the time.

Daddy and I brush our teeth together every night.

Playing...
