Christmas in Georgia

Christmas this year was such a fun season.  There is nothing like experiencing it through the eyes and joys of your children.  As I've said before, Will really got into it this year and Laura is just into everything so it truly felt magical.  We have a wonderful advent book that we read every night that really taught Will the Christmas story which he acted out with his Little People manger scene and people almost every night.  There were a few nights our Little People characters were MIA, due to play during the day, so he would run to my other manger scene and borrow the appropriate people for our reading instead.  Melted our hearts when we would say the verse starting with Emmanuel and he would cry out, "God with us." It was a special time for all of us.

I lost count of how many times we watched The Polar Express, worked on Christmas crafts, made cookies and sang along to Christmas carols.  We were all sad to see the month pass but are already excited about next year, well, Will is excited to get to pull out TPE again and watch it another hundred times.  Ha!  Until then, here are some shots of our final December days of 2011 spent in Georgia.

Will and Audrey ate candy, I mean made Gingerbread Houses

I can't get Laura to keep a bow in her hair but the girl loves her jewels and again she is loving this photo op.
That's a little better...

While we were caroling Laura was updating her Facebook status.  Baby rude. :)

Will went to see his first movie in the movie theater, Alvin and the Chipmunks - Chipwrecked.  He thought the whole experience was so cool, who wouldn't with a big bag of popcorn on your lap and some of your favorite characters on this massive screen.
Laura had her first Starbucks while waiting to ride the Pink Pig...just kidding about the Starbucks part.
How many times can YOU watch Polar Express???
Merry belated Christmas and Happy 2012 Y'all!!!
