Will's Birthday Parties
We have one blessed little boy. He got to celebrate his birthday not once but twice. We did one big bash at my family's lake house in Georgia that turned into a family/friend reunion. We had family drive up from South Georgia, other family drive up from Hilton Head Island, SC, my college roomate and her family drove down from Nashville and others pulled in from all over the state. It was so much fun. Will got to play with his friends and cousins who are all around his age which was such a treat since we live out of town and don't get to see them often. People came before lunch and stayed until well after dinner. It was just perfect and something we will never forget.
We did a second, smaller party here in Virginia with some of our friends. We cooked out and enjoyed a couple hours of fun while the kids played and adults chatted. We are well aware that God has blessed us richly with family both here in Virginia and home in Georgia. God's provision in that is never far from our minds. Not only is Will one blessed little boy but we are a blessed family.
All in all, Will's 1st birthday week exceeded expectations and blessed us deeply. Here are some pictures of the festivities...
